Is IMAP a memory hog, or to be considered unstable currently?
Just curious if it should be avoided for now, or if it is relatively
safe to turn on?

I think the imapservice.js is safe, it's just known to have
compatibility issues. I don't recall any memory or stability
problems with it.

I'm using the IMAP service and it seems to be working just fine. I
have a 4GB system though.

Thunderbird definitely doesn't seem to like it... tried to create a Sent folder, and it just doesn't seem to do it, will maybe try with Windows
Mail later. I do think it's interesting that the message groups show
up though.
